This website ("Site") is owned and operated by Lore Stoneworks, LLC ("Lore Stoneworks," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set forth the terms under which you may use our Site and purchase products offered by us. Our Site offers visitors handcrafted, artisan-made jewelry for purchase. By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

To use our Site, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right, and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement.

 

1. Products and Handmade Variation

All items sold on our Site are handcrafted. Because each piece is made by hand using natural materials (such as stones, metals, and other organic elements), slight variations in color, size, texture, and finish are normal and expected. Photos are provided as an accurate representation of each piece, to the best of our ability, but minor differences between the photo and the item you receive are part of the nature of selling handmade jewelry online and are not considered defects.

 

2. Commercial Terms

When purchasing an item, you agree that:

  1. You are responsible for reading the full item listing before committing to buy it.

  2. You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item once you complete the checkout and payment process.

The prices for our products are listed on the Site. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on our payments page.

Payments are processed securely through our website platform's integrated payment processor. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

 

3. Shipping

We currently ship exclusively within the United States. Shipping timeframes and costs are provided at checkout and may vary based on your location and the shipping method selected.

Lore Stoneworks, LLC is not responsible for items damaged, delayed, or lost during shipping and delivery once the item has been handed off to the shipping carrier.

 

4. Returns and Refunds

If you're unhappy with your piece of jewelry, please contact us at lorestoneworks@gmail.com within one week (7 days) of delivery. Once your return request is approved, we will be happy to exchange the item or refund your payment to your original payment method, minus original shipping costs.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original, unworn condition, with all original packaging.

  • You must contact us within the return window above before sending the item back.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Non-returnable items: Custom, made-to-order pieces are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

 

5. Right to Change Offerings

Lore Stoneworks, LLC may, without prior notice, change our product selection, descriptions, and pricing for any reason or no reason, and without liability for doing so.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All images, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, copyrighted material, photographs, audio, video, designs, and all other intellectual property on this Site are the exclusive property of Lore Stoneworks, LLC. Except as explicitly stated in these Terms, nothing here grants you a license to any of this intellectual property, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from it.

If you upload or share any content referencing our products (such as reviews, tagged photos, or social media posts), you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive right to use that content in connection with promoting our business, unless you tell us otherwise.

 

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lore Stoneworks, LLC harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) made against us by you or any third party arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any products purchased through it.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Lore Stoneworks, LLC be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including, without limitation, damages for loss of use or any intangible losses — arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our products.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lore Stoneworks, LLC assumes no liability or responsibility for:

  1. Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in Site content;

  2. Personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from your use of our products (for example, allergic reactions to jewelry materials); or

  3. Any unauthorized access to or use of the systems that store your information, which are maintained by our website platform provider as described in our Privacy Policy.

 

9. Promotional Communications

By providing your email address at checkout or through a sign-up form, you may receive occasional promotional messages from us, such as new product announcements or special offers. These messages are sent infrequently.

You may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email or by contacting us at lorestoneworks@gmail.com. Opting out of promotional messages will not affect transactional communications related to an order you've placed (such as order confirmations or shipping updates).

 

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. We encourage you to review this page periodically. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by posting a notice on the Site). Your continued use of the Site after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms or any future version, please discontinue use of the Site.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, and any claims or disputes related to them or to our products or services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any such claims or disputes shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and you consent to that jurisdiction. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.

 

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

 

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lore Stoneworks, LLC regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements between us on this subject.
