Chunky Rectangle Peruvian Pink Opal Pendant

This Peruvian pink opal pendant is only 1 3/4" long, but features a chunky, squared-off top that gives it weight. The stone was hand mined by our friends from Lima, and features feathery manganese inclusions that are deep brown to black.

Unlike "complex" opals, Peruvian pink opals don't sparkle, but they're beautiful nonetheless and are sometimes called the peppermint candy stone. Certainly conversation starters!

Set in 925 silver, the pendant features hand-cut notches and markings and a wide, rounded bail.

Size: 1 3/4" long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant (4.25 cm) and 3/4" wide (2 cm).

Pair with: Black or brown cord or a silver chain that complements the pendant's chunkiness.
