Crow Springs Turquoise Marquise Pendant on Micro-faceted Turquoise Beads
This beaded necklace holds a marquise-cut turquoise cabochon in pale, mint-green with warm-brown matrix inclusions (the base rock often found in natural stone). Haling from the Campitos mine in Sonora, Mexico, the stone is set in a hand-stamped sterling silver bezel with decorative tick-marks along the edges and a wide bail.
The pendant is strung on a graduated mix of micro-faceted turquoise beads ranging across the full spectrum of the turquoise palette — from pale mint and sage green to deep teal, near-black and warm brown. Each bead is unique, with many showing a matrix pattern. Small sandalwood accent beads flank the sterling silver lobster clasp. The overall feeling is earthy and antique, making this piece a true keepsake. Size: 2" long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant and 7/8" wide (5 x 2 cm). Pearl strand is 17.75" long including clasp (45 cm).
Weight including turquoise strand: .67 oz (19 g)
