Teardrop Peruvian Blue Opal with Dendrites

This Peruvian blue opal pendant is powder blue with mossy, black dendrites along its right side. With its high, rounded top, this isn't a sliver of stone in a pendant, but a large piece of Peru's national treasure.

The stone was hand minded by friends from Lima, and carried out of the Andes on donkey back, making this a rare and one-of-a-kind heirloom. It's set in a hand-crafted sterling silver bezel with decorative tick marks and a wide bail. Trust these colors to pop against anything black.

Size: 1 1/2" long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant (just over 3.5 cm) and 13/16" wide (2 cm).
